Building Strong Brains and Hearts Through The Magic of Being Here

Our aim at HERE is to make mindfulness an accessible intervention, which is available and relatable to all. We encourage early intervention of mindfulness, which can help support the well-being of not only the child, but also the support circle around them.

We use yoga and mindfulness with children to help build their emotional awareness and understanding, aka their self-regulatory capacity, to be able to help them acknowledge emotions, express them, and be able to breathe through all that life throws at them.

“Build Connections And Make The World Go ‘Round”

We are social beings. We thrive by building communities and societies, by helping each other and working together. When we feel disconnected, maybe even low, stagnant or anxious, receiving support, and giving it, can help! Don’t forget to share your feelings. Be open to receiving and giving love… And build those connections that make the world go round.

“Self-Acceptance Rainbow Theme”

Sometimes we have to move through tricky feelings and tricky times. Your feelings during these tricky times are valid and ok. Acknowledge them and breathe so that you come out stronger on the other side. Just like a rainbow after a storm.

“Breaking Through Like A Lotus”

Lighter days are ahead. Just like the lotus flower, we can move through even the toughest of challenges and murky water, emerging stronger and more beautiful on the other side. It is within us to rise through challenge, just as the lotus flower does.

“Nature-Themed Yoga and Mindfulness Activities”

Nature-themed mindfulness activities to help promote a sense of calm, healing and connection. The recent pandemic has placed a lot of extra strain and demands not just on ourselves but on our little ones too. So why not get outdoors to help re-focus and calm the mind. Call upon these methods for those times where stress is amounting to toxic levels and you and your little ones need to take a moment and recenter.
