here and reconnect “flow through summer”
summer academy 2022
problem solve, release stress and manage anger through effective body movements and Mindfulness Techniques
“The program will offer a mindfulness curriculum that will incorporate themes relating to boosting the well-being of the young people by engaging with them with the goals of developing self-regulatory capacities, positive self-concept, supportive relationships and healthier lifestyles.”
“This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number SLFRP1615 awarded to Douglas County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.”
Our aim at HERE is to make mindfulness an accessible, soft intervention, which is available and relatable to all. We encourage early intervention of mindfulness, by exposing children as early as possible to these practices which can help support the wellbeing of not only the child, but also the support circle around them.
Mindfulness can help prevent the escalation of underlying issues by encouraging greater emotional awareness, empathy, and developing greater connection to the self and those around.

The Triage Success Youth Program
“Triage Success Youth Program was developed based on the belief that reducing risk factors that contribute to delinquent behavior among youth and young adults is of utmost importance. We provide effective prevention and intervention services to keep youth from entering the juvenile justice system or prevent further system involvement.
We help youth develop cognitive and pro-social skills needed to help them reach their fullest potential. Our comprehensive program, based on effective best-practice strategies, is designed to help youth succeed at school, at home, and in the community. We carry out our purpose by providing quality services in the following areas: Educational Tutoring/Support, Job and Career Readiness, and Personal Development/Accountability.
