Equipped with her bags of yoga props, games, music, and fun! Our resident yoga teacher at Here, Jen Armstrong, is ready to come and spread the joy of yoga by bring it into your family home. Being a teacher of kids and family yoga, Jen knows the true joy that families can have during this shared experience- whether thats through the partner poses, music time, games, or snuggly relaxations at the end- it is a unique experience that the whole family won’t forget any time soon!

Sample Jungle/Root Chakra themed class details:

  • Welcome with conversation cubes and singing bowl- helps tune into the class through listening.

  • Breathing ball exercise to help visually demonstrate slow long yogic breathing.

  • Hello sun, Hello Earth sun salutations.

  • Animal poses involving moving around the mats in different ways and really feeling the earth with the feet and toes.

  • Lion breath.

  • Colourful scarves to play around with breath and movement- a chance to dance a little and have fun together.

  • Grounding poses in a circle to solidify Root Chakra focus (e.g. silent forest)

  • Age appropriate partner poses- e.g. ‘Lizard on a rock’, the most grounding of the partner poses.

  • Relaxation time to snuggle or simply enjoy calming music and optional temple massage with essential oil.

  • Themed music throughout.

    Each family will also receive a gift bag including a Breathing Ball, Tisserand Sleep Better essential oil for family relaxation/bedtime routine, and a Mandala Colouring Book.
